7Z: create an archive or a data ISO
A 7Z archive compresses files and folders. A small compressed file can expand substantially. Choose a new 7Z archive for repacking, or a data ISO only when the destination actually needs a disc image.

Create a 7Z archive
ZIP → 7Z repacks the extracted ZIP contents. File types and compression already applied can limit any size reduction.
Create a data image
7Z → ISO extracts files into a new non-bootable data ISO. If the desired ISO is already inside, extract it locally.
Archive is too large or protected
Check the route’s upload limit and unpacked limits. Passwords, multipart inputs and renaming/splitting to bypass the one-file limit are not supported.

Check limits before uploading
One file per task. Compressed size is not unpacked size; processing also has memory and time limits. Files are processed on the server: avoid confidential material. Download before the expiry shown on the result page.
Unpacked data for archive → ISO: ≤ 1024 MB · ≤ 10000 files
Check the result
- Compare the files in the downloaded archive or image with the source.
- Keep the original and check the result in the application where you need it.
Questions before you convert
Does 7Z → ISO keep an installer bootable?
No. The service builds a new data filesystem rather than preserving the original boot structure.
Will ZIP → 7Z always reduce the size?
No. Already compressed images, video or archives may not become smaller.
